When your field service engineers log in to their ReDeTrack mobile terminal at the start of the day their appointments are automatically downloaded so they can head off right away without needing to call the office. Appointment details include the date and time, the customer and address details and a description of the work.

Their progress is monitored through the day as they complete each task. Any new jobs you create will automatically be added to their job list - just add a new appointment to their diary back at the office and ReDeTrack will do the rest.

If they need to convey supplies to jobs or return unrequired, damaged and faulty parts, they can use ReDeTrack to log each item as it goes out or is received and can collect proof of delivery details if required. This can help you keep track of stock items stored at your supply locations and on your service vehicles.

You can also keep tabs on their whereabouts with a live GPS location uplink, with a web-based map to show you where they are (click here for demo). The built-in GPS can also function as a Satnav, guiding your engineers to each appointment, automatically using the address included with the work detail.

They can also use their handheld computer as a 'phone using JetPhone. This application is 'ReDeTrack-aware' and so the two sit comfortably on the same device without interfering with each other's operation. Your office team can send new contacts directly to the hand held, so there's no need for anyone to find a pen or any SMS costs.
